3rd Annotation
Jackie Roberson was born January 31, 1919 and was the first African-American baseball player. He died October 24, 1972 being the most talented person ever and played in many sports. He became a political activist in his post-playing days. Jackie Robinson was the youngest of five children and in 1935 he graduated from Dakota Junior High School then enrolled in another high school.
